Relocating Your Family
Moving house — and especially moving schools — is hard on kids. As adults, we tend to focus on the monetary concerns, the stress of paperwork and everything else involved in relocating. Kids, however, are typically much more focused on the emotional aspect. Moving can make them feel afraid, sad and even angry. While all these reactions are okay, the fact is that moving — especially frequently or during certain ages — may lead to issues with school, emotional regulation and social skills.
